Bihar is India's most flood-prone state, with 76% population in the North Bihar living under the recurring threat of flood devastation. Bihar makes up 16.5% of India's flood affected area and 22.1% of India's flood affected population.

About 28 districts of Bihar suffer from floods every year. These include East Champaran district. East Champaran district also suffers from floods every year. Therefore, relief material is made available to the people in the disaster. In this, clean water, food and medicine are provided to the people. Through this initiative of Bravo Foundation, people get social, financial and mental support.
